That is rather disturbing. Vibrio vulnificus is nothing to take lightly. Please take care of her and don’t let her become dehydrated. Maybe also call Spahr’s tomorrow and see if anyone else reported becoming ill after eating their raw oysters.

Was a great day and night too.

This is exactly how it started with my uncle. Butt piss and curled up like a hibernating copperhead for hours. Cracking jokes on our family text chain about the butt pissing and raw arse and what not. Then the ER the next day. Then ICU. Then finally all 8 verses of just as I am at the graveside service.

If she can't hold down fluids I would go asap. Especially if she is a smaller sized woman. Oysters are no joke I won't eat them anymore
