I'm sorry you took all of this so personally as to make so many assumptions about me. It bothered you to the extent that you wanted to prove your worth to me by listing your graduate/post-graduate accomplishments. Something no one else in this thread has done.

So, the government schools aren't great? frick me running. I love that public school indoctrination. Hell, a couple of weeks ago a friend's kid had a great assignment at BR High. The project was "create a bumper sticker to explain why Christopher Columbus was a racist". What the hell is wrong with that? Sounds great...

No, my personal narrative is an example of why your premise is flawed. My mistake was in expecting you to understand this on its face. It seemed obvious.
And why are you so obsessed with this point anyways? You have gone far afield from your original argument and are now focused on me (which is another example of me winning ...).

I gotta say, this private school and boarding school grad feels pretty damn smart. My kids go to a top 10 academic HS school in my State. They are killing it academically and socially. The music program is insanely good (that's our "thing"). And it's all free. I pocket that 30k every year. So I take them to school in luxury cars, build them a music room addition to the home, and take them on fancy vacations. London, Kauai, BC, 30A.Every year somewhere nice. They excel. I pocket the cash. Everybody wins.

I'm saying that quality public schools deliver a second-to-none education at a better value than private schools.
