I'm working remote until "school" lets out. These kids aren't going to homeschool themselves so your date is when I will go back out in the world. Well, other than going to the grocery store all the time, Lowe's for random shite, and getting Monsters from the nearest convenience store.

I would actually argue that there's no logical reason to extend the shutdown orders any longer than early May. As multiple people have pointed out now, the point was never to prevent all infections but to buy time to build out hospital capacity. The updated IMHE models show almost all cities in the US hitting the bottom of hospital utilization by early May.
The problem is that for a lot of people, politicians included, logic has gone completely out of the window. Unfortunately I could see a situation where regional lockdowns extend significantly longer than is necessary. The LA Times yesterday ran an article calling for shelter in place for many more months and 2 years of social distancing...
