Parkview has a well deserved rep for producing sluts and druggies
Used to love parkview parties.
Only parties where the alcohol, drugs, and pussy were all grade A.
All the other schools need to take lessons.

Dunham is $17,310
Episcopal is $17,703
These are the HS rates.

Parkview is a cult
It's not. I'm catholic and had a kid go to Parkview. It's in no way a cult. It's just a school like the others listed.
It's a pretty good school too and a lot cheaper than dunham and episcopal which are great schools in their own right.

It's a good school. It gets a bad rap because most of South LA is catholic and it isn't. My daughter is taking college readiness classes through Duke TIP in the 5th grade at PBS.

Runnels has sports, nice k-12 facilities and such, but did not, in my opinion, prepare my son for the rigorous academics of Westdale Heights elementary (magnet) if that is any indication. Perhaps the learning model at early age groups are different or there is a big jump in later grades? We had to play serious catch-up for a few months.

It gets bad pub because of the athletics.you can't be running around dominating 4A and 5A schools with a middle of the road 3A enrollment and still consider yourself on Episcopal's level academically. Fair or not, that's what happens.

I went to Parkview for a year in 5th grade. The academics were fine, but I felt they were somewhat pushy with the religious aspects of the curriculum. I attended Episcopal for high school and would rank the academics very highly; however, I haven't lived in B.R. for eight years and don't know how much the administration has changed. I know they ran off quite a few of their long-term teachers in the last decade.

I’ve had a son graduate from Dunham and one from PBS. So much fail in this thread laced with jealousy and ignorance. If you don’t know anything about the schools, stfu.

So what are the typical jobs these parents have? Just curious
Posted on 7/5/18 at 9:36 pm to PiscesTiger
It’s always been Episcopal since the day it opened. Their graduates get accepted to the best schools in the country. The annual list of schools they plan to attend is impressive.

Not sure I follow your question.

No bris? Because I rather my child spend that hour learning another language over learning religion.

Episcopal has the best academics and highest price tag. Dunham is a high price tag that is short on return. Parkview is right in the middle academically, and a decent price. Culture can be an issue.
Parkview is dog shite man. My brother went there.... At his graduation they made a huge deal out of this girl being a national merit semifinalist. It was their only one. We had 13 in my senior class. Parkview is really no comparison to Episcopal or Dunham. Bad thing is that you have to be a rich kid to attend the latter two.

Bumper sticker we give out before playing Episcopal in any sport.

My cousin is a world renowned surgeon and a product of Central public schools. It's not all about the school
