Not a criminal lawyer, but when he that ever stopped any of us from making comments.
She shoved him, he bowed up to her and faked a punch, then she slapped him around the neck. If she was waiting on him, I'd give him more sympathy, but as it is he royally fricked up and is significantly more at fault than she is.
She's not innocent, but the idea that the parties are equally at fault is asinine.

Completely agree. I wouldn't have hit her, but it's annoying as all frick that everyone wants to be equal EXCEPT FOR THE UNFORTUNATE PARTS.

I mean, at that point the girl is not a threat and it's unnecessary that he hit her.
However, at what point does that girl think it's a good idea to not only push him, but then slap him in the face?
What did she think was going to happen?
ETA: Legally, she put her hands on him first...and second. I don't know that he should be charged.
