I've done it this way for years and it works. I've also shown a lot of people how to do this and they can't believe how quick and easy it is. And yes, you can still suck the head if it floats your boat.

Twist tail off, pinch the bottom of the tail while pulling the meat out with your teeth. Fastest method and there are no scales attached to carapace for your head sucking pleasure.
