H1N1 -- big enough news that anyone alive remembers it happening yet the total deaths in the entire USA over a couple of years with no measures to stop it was like 5000 or so.

SARS -- scary in initial reporting due to extremely high fatality rate. In the end, I think the USA had a whopping 0 deaths from it.

That both of those viruses combined over years killed less people in the USA than this one has in one month in NYC while we're being shut down to a level never seen before to stop it is mainly the difference.

Some of you are fricking stupid. Legit stupid. This one has a two week+ incubation period. It’s also incredibly contagious and lives for days or weeks without a host. Literally by the time you have symptoms you’ve been asymptomatic for weeks and have been infecting dozens or hundreds of people already. This is to protect you and those dozens of people. These numbers are WHILE people are staying home.

Sounds shitty for a place like NYC.

So let’s keep every town in LA completely shut down

What’s your benchmark for “incredibly contagious” btw

ETA: you’re in Shreveport?

Benchmark? fricking really? I can’t argue with stupid so I’m literally done here. This refusal of science will be the downfall of this country. The international community thinks you’re all idiots and they’re completely right. Go protest bruh.

Yeah. Really. What’s “incredibly contagious” to you?

Just stay away from others. You’ll survive

Of course this didn’t get a response

Maybe the experts just got this one wrong, really wrong.

They get them all wrong. Every. Single. One.

Remember when Tedros was Health Minister in Ethiopia and despite not having any medical knowledge, managed to single-handedly protect the country from cholera? Instead they had three terrible outbreaks of what he called "acute watery diarrhea" because Cholera didn't exist in his country.

Remember when Ebola was going to sweep across the world and kill 14 million in two small African countries alone? The same Ebola that only killed 28k people worldwide? Not even fricking close.

Remember when the experts said COVID 19 couldn't be spread from person to person? Remember when it was going to kill 2.2 million in the US? Remember when they insisted on high flow rates for patients on ventilators, before they found out that killed all of them? Remember when there was going to be a terrible shortage of ventilators, but somehow even NY never ran out and they are still taking delivery on the thousands they ordered and have no use for them? Remember when this virus killed 5% of all people infected, even though that turned out to be exaggerated by about 50x? Remember when the whole world had to be quarantined to protect a handful of at-risk individuals, when we should have never quarantined anyone except for the at-risk individuals (such as myself)?

Anyone who still believes these "experts" is hopelessly stupid. They are literally wrong about everything. And the simps still follow, despite the fact that actual science proves them wrong at every turn.

The shutdowns worldwide were because people are sheep and stupidity is contagious.

Plenty of countries did not shut down and they are still here. Everybody did not die.

If this was not an election year nobody would have given a frick and this would be known as the NYC virus.

Monday morning quarterbacking.

We shut down the country when there were 100 deaths.

I think I’m nkt asking what I’m thinking.

Why didn’t we take these measures with h1n1? That’s all I’m basically asking

And I’m not a nurse; never said I was. I’m nkt asking which we’re doing it with this. Asking why we didn’t with swine.

This is a test case by the global new world order cabal to see how easily and quickly the world’s collective population would subject themselves to fascist authoritarian rule.

The virus is killing all the old people who have knowledge and experience battling fascism and communism leaving nothing but an uneducated youth thirsting for the government fist to crush them into eternal subservience and poverty.

The destruction of the family unit and the education system coupled with the rise of social media brainwashing and group think perfectly preceded this unprecedented parody of a pandemic placed upon our pathetic populace.

You want to know why a flu pandemic, with antivirals available for treatment, was treated differently than this?

You really have to ask???

It’s a deep question and you won’t get deep answers here.

The truth is unknowable in the specifics, but having a general understanding of chaos theory helps.

quote:

Chaos theory is a branch of mathematics focusing on the study of chaos—states of dynamical systems whose apparently-random states of disorder and irregularities are often governed by deterministic laws that are highly sensitive to initial conditions.

No one (or mostly no one) conspired to use this virus as an attack on Trump and the style of anti-establishment politics that he represents, but the predisposition to magnify any news that would be negative towards Trump had the impact to shift the narrative.

It only takes small unpredictable inputs to produce radically different outcomes.

You are the part of the way right that is psychotic. If you truly believe this, you might want to take a look at yourself in the mirror.

And btw, the way left is full of lying pussies.
