Whatcha got?

We have a spring games competition out here at the work fitness center (US Gov Complex) and one of the events is max bench reps at your body weight.

Official day for bench is next Thursday/Friday.

I hit heavy bench on Monday and a long arm workout yesterday but managed 185x30 today. Taking it easy next week so I can try and beat the all time record of 33.

Weight for me will be 185-190.

I could probably do like 4-5 at 205. And I'm probably being overly generous 37" arms are a bitch for anything that requires extension.

1, maybe 2

I'm tall and not barrel chested and I don't really lift anymore...other than that, I am on the front end of developing old man strength.

I hit 27 at 205 last summer messing around at CF NOLA. Resting next week should help me get a few more.

I'll definitely be the winner in 2017. Best in 2016 was 25 in the 20-29 age group, but they don't list weight in the record book.

That 25 could be 145.

Current weight: 208
Did a set of 3 @ 335 on Monday. Haven't done a one rep max in years though.

335 is my current max and it's been 4-5 months since that lift.

Bodyweight is right at 220 and although I rarely barbell bench anymore I think I can rep 225 probably 20 or so times. That is usually my second warm-up set and usually do it 10 reps before I jump into my heavy sets and 10 is easy.

My last 225 for reps was 22x in Jan and I'm hovering in the 190-193 range right now.

I'm 157. Could probably crank out a few then I'd be toast.

Bench was never my jam tho.

I weigh about 170 right now

I did 7x225 the other day so I am guessing I could get 18-20 reps of 170 according to strengthstandards.co

I'm 5'11" with average length arms. Definitely makes it easier not having to move the weight as far.
