Hodinkee Live Coverage

Tudor has two new Black Bays and apparently they are putting their in house movement in all of them now and going back to the shield logo. That makes the run of my black bay black with the rose logo very small

The new Black Bay Bronze

Black Bay Dark

Rolex' 2016 lineup

I'm digging the new Daytona

Pretty sure the first one is a fossil...or at least it looks like a fossil. I had a fossil that looked very similar to that in the 9th grade.

Are they increasing the price of the black bay when they move them to in house movement? I'm not a fan of either of the new ones.

That Black Bay Dark is nice, but you can get a Tag that looks just like it for 1/4 the price.

Like this one a lot. I also like the limited edition Slim D'Hermes. Man I really want the steel one.

Get an Oak & Oscar Burnham instead. I don't like the posted one enough aesthetically to drop 5 figures on it.

Where did you see that they are going forward with in house movement on all of the black bays? The Hodinkee article I just read only mentioned that the Bronze would have it.

Go to the Tudor site, it mentions it now. They put the shield logo back on them and its going to have an in house movement.

Nothin I have seen this year that makes me want to run out and buy... Which is a first.

Some nice pieces but nothing that sings to me.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of the new Explorer I. With it all lit up in blue, it just doesn't seem Rolex.

That's what I like about it. Also why I'd get a Milgauss if I ever got a Rolex.

They fixed the short hands which EVERYONE bitched about forever, so its a plus in my book. I actually like having the lum on the numbers.

All the new Rolexes use blue lume rather than green now. And you only see it if you go from outside into a dark room. I think it's the tits, because of the longer hands. Definitely my next watch.

But speaking of "not Rolex" the new Air King's dial logo is super cheesy:

Looks like a wall clock in a jewelry store.

Ah, I see it now. Thanks.

That Tudor Black Bay 36 is pretty nice, I would be interested if I didn't already have a Hamilton King Auto which has a very similar movement and looks. Still think I like the Black Bay Black the most.
