80lb cur just devoured a cooked beef short rib bone. Should I be concerned? Seems normal now-sleeping in chair like always, breathing fine, etc. Anything to lookout for?

Pour up a bowl of food. One bone ain’t enough for a dog that size.

If it splintered he will probably throw it up.
That’s really the only think you have to worry about,
If you’re really concerned you can give him 1Tbsp of peroxide for every ten pounds and induce vomiting.
If not then just watch him and make sure you don’t see blood coming out of either end.
Next time stick to bully sticks and solid bones.
My dog loves kneecaps, but they make him fart like crazy. good luck with your pupper!

Just keep it straight as it gets closer to coming out. If it goes out sideways you could have a rupture situation. Just feel along his pelvis and keep it straight.

I served in the 82nd Airborne Division but I wouldn't worry .... dog stomach acid will turn it into mush in no time.

It won’t break down in the stomach?

My lab eats firewood and occasionally pukes it up, I think you will be fine. Just keep an eye on the pup

I once had a lab eat an entire remote control. He was fine.
