I know you. And I don't envie you. You bald frick. I have hair. :lol; I'm just not impressed.
And to be clear, I don't sit around watching tv either. But all I hear rom you is blah blah blah. Post a pic of your flawless physique or STFU already.

Dude talk about moving the goal post. Of course its not reasonable for most. Hell I am not even there yet. Its not for most but it is obtainable for 99%.
I never argued it was reasonable. I think 12% is very reasonable though.
and I get your point about compromise, I really do. I am doing what I am doing for me and for me alone. I set the goal to get below 8% by my vacation mid july. I will put in whatever work it takes to get there. Of course I fall off the wagon sometimes but I am way ahead of schedule. I mean today I had a triple cheeseburger from a local burger place. I won't do that again for weeks though.
Most of the time my cheat meal is choc protein powder with the trader joes pb that is made from only peanuts with a little walden farms choc syrup in the mixer.
You will never hear me say 8% is what everybody should get to and stay at. I do believe that the longer you stay at a bf% the easier it becomes and your body starts treating that % as homeostasis. I also believe that everybody that is into fitness should diet down to below 10% a few times in their life.
i also 100% believe that anybody above 20%BF is that away due to sheer laziness and lack of will power especially lack of will power when it comes to seeking legit information.

The suspiscous part of your post is that none of us have used the work "envy", but you continuously use. No one said that we were to be envied or that you should be jealous. You are projecting, which stems from your own insecurities

hahaha
I am bald as a son of a bitch

Jesus Christ dude. What exactly do you think it takes to achieve this? Do you think you have to spend five hours a day in the gym? Run a 100 miles a week? Drink a proteins shake with 40 egg whites every thirty minutes?

I didn't move the goal post. Like the last time you and I got into it you misread. My entire point is that a 40 year old can't walk around all year looking like that. Not that it can't be achieved for two fricking weeks while trying to nail some slut in cancun.
Posted on 4/29/16 at 2:36 pm to mouton
I know that you don't do it. So whatever you do, it takes more than that.

my trainer moved from LA 4-5 years ago and worked with many of the personal trainers who train the stars. i asked him this same question about these guys getting in shape for parts
he said those trainers do whip their arse and keep an eye on them like a hawk. also eating a ton of lean stuff
he did also say dont fool yourself, everyone of those are on HGH and a shite ton of supplements. he knows the guy who trained Bradley Cooper for American Sniper. They claim Cooper went from 185 to 225 in just 10 weeks. he said dont believe for 1 second he didnt have help. its physical impossible to do without it.

The idea that actors aren't juicing to get into this kind of shape in 6 months is laughable. Guys, call an anti-aging clinic if you want to get ripped up for spring break next year. Shots can make it happen.
Posted on 4/29/16 at 2:41 pm to Artie Rome
for the record i dont blame them. if you said here's 10 million for a part that we start filming for in 6 months, and by the way we are going to assign you a trainer and cook all your meals and get you ripped, and you will be taking roids.
where do i sign up?

Sorry but didnt you say its not obtainable by a 40year old with job and kids?
and you can easily maintain that % or sub 10% using intermittent fasting and IIFYM.
the poster Rocket on here is the perect example of this. He has posted pics plenty of times and has stayed sub 10% for like the last 2 years using this approach.

Do you believe I did what it takes to achieve 8% bf? Why is it so hard to believe that someone could maintain that through diet?

shite no I don't blame them. It's their business and livelihood. And let's not be naive, this has been going on for decades.
I have no issue with any of it. The people want to see Sly Stallone looking like a monster. Not the fat slob he was 4 months before Rocky 3.

the only way to eat IMO
have kept my weight off for years doing this. i eat whatever i want, as long as it fits my macros

You can do it. And be miserable. But why? To show off your nasty 42 year old 30 inch waist like Mouton?
Posted on 4/29/16 at 2:49 pm to mouton
I've never seen a picture that indicates anything near 8%. And again, you don't have kids and you don't really matter. Lots of gay men achieve sub 10%.

He has shifted to full troll mode at this point. no point

My question is really about the need for the compromise. If you aren't competing, and you certainly aren't a model, what's the point of getting to 8% for the summer?
Personal goals.
I like to challenge myself, and getting older, it's nice when someone guesses your age to be 10 years younger than you are!
