We have 3 large plastic totes of unopened Power Ranger toys in the attic. Hoping to pay for the grandchildren's college in 20 years.

now is the time for power rangers. Figures are pretty much a dime a dozen, but the zords are very hot. Major relaunch of the franchise is under way. Get to listing.

Gobots are not worth as much as Transformers, but they are probably hotter right now. The six main gobots are selling for about 18 to 25 a piece right now. Most are sellinh between 8 and 12, which is up a bit.

As a garage/estate sale picker, toy trains is one of the toughest things to come by. I once paid $500 for a pre-war Lionel train set and landscape (pretty basic). I knew very little about it but figured I could possibly double my money.

Come to find out, there were two cast iron street lights that were larger than the O Scale train set. After a little research, they were from some German toy train set from the 30's. They sold for $600 by themselves. I did sell the rest of the train for another $900.

Edit***

They were Macklin light post, but bigger than O Scale

Marklin, probably 2 gauge. Marklin is very desirable, though some nice Marklin at a recent auction didn't do that well.

I don't collect toys. I did save all of my Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, and G.I. Joes for my son to have. He has outgrown them now, so just this past weekend I rounded them up and boxed them away for him to give to his son one day. Hopefully they'll be enjoyed for a few generations. I'm not worried about any potential value, if any.

No kids of my own but I wish my parents would have kept the Hot Wheels cars and track sets from the late '60s and '70s that my brother and I had. Would have passed them on to my nephews, though they're grown up.

Have an old View-Master from the 1950's that looks exactly like this one and has a Roy Rogers reel with it.

We also had a View-Master projector and so many reels

I guess my nieces and nephews would enjoy them as collectables.

One of my favorite reels is Huckleberry Hound lands on the Moon (1960). A few frames:

One of my uncles passed a Thingmaker (Mini Dragons set) from the '60s to us with all the mold forms, Plastigoop and oven.

To make these creatures:

You may be the first person other than my brother and myself who I've found to be familiar with Thingmaker. We bring it up all the time and nobody knows what we're talking about.

Between my son and me, we have a massive Hot Wheels collection. I keep meaning to take them out and arrange them to take pictures sometime.

That makes both of us. No one I've ever mentioned it to has heard of it. My uncle passed it on when we were in 6th and 7th grade (around 1980). When we received it, my brother had brought one of the dragons to school and the next day we gave a couple of them to friends with the remaining Plastigoop we had.

I have a complete 1984 GI Joe Mountain Howitzer sitting on my work desk right now, (I'm an artillery guy so I think it's neat)

Also, I restore Tamiya RC buggies from the 80's.

definitely Marklin or Bing (both German made)

Nice lights - they always sell well. Marklin is very high quality stuff.

I have what might possibly be the largest Hulk collection on earth. My passion for collecting this stuff had dwindled quite a bit in the last few years, however. I suspect the only reason I haven't sold the collection is because of the massive job in and of itself that cataloguing and selling it would be.

Anyway, here is a video made several years ago. My son that you can hear in the video was 14 at the time. He is now 22. You will also hear my wife (no pics) kissing some major arse. That, like my passion for all things Hulk, has died down tremendously...

Some of the Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars are collectible and worth some money now.
