I generally read different newspapers online for my news. Dallas morning news, NYT, LA Times and a couple of English newspapers.

The OT butthurt by anything the left does is hilarious. CNN's the same way with the right. It's amazing anything gets done in this country.

I'll watch Fox over CNN for breaking news. Cnn lost me after they tried to immediately blame 'right wing terrorism' the first few hours after Aurora.
ETA- I'm not like old people and leave it on TV non stop like my dad. He watches fox about 5 hrs a day.

Neither for real news, Fox is to far right and CNN to far Left with speculation and opinion while reporting. You wanna know what's really going on watch BBC news. They do not push agendas or try to sway opinion on topics. They simply report about as close to the facts of a situation without speculation as any news coverage I have seen. For example Fox last night was praising how great the RNC speeches were, CNN was steady pointing out faults and missed opportunities while BBC reported about both pretty equally and covered all the craziness that was going on outside that neither American channel would cover.

I prefer to read my own news, as opposed to being read the news by someone else.

CNN's news coverage by far, but I flip to Fox for the Republican viewpoint

I think Fox is over the top and makes it more obvious they are all about ratings where as CNN, with the exception of a few of their personalities, they don't make it as obvious, plus they have some decent shows on there like Anthony Bourdain.
I know people look at it as a political association, if you are Republican you watch Fox, you are Democrat its CNN, but that's not the case with me. I consider myself independent, but I rather CNN and if anyone has anything to say about it.., frick you.

OT question.... CNN or Fox?
The question isn't quite right. It's like saying "Who do you watch for sitcoms, ABC or NBC?" Well, it depends on the show.
In the evening, Fox News only has one news show: Special Report with Brett Baier. If recorded, the 60 minute show can be viewed in about 20 minutes (skipping uninteresting segments). The panel discussion (last 15 minutes) is the only place of any media outlet where one can hear conservative views articulated in a reasonable manner.
For some actual insight, record Special Report and watch the Panel each night for 2 weeks. And as mentioned, avoid Hannity at all costs. He's an embarrassment.
The real problem with CNN (and most MSM) is not what they report, it's what they leave out of their reports e.g. Patricia Smith ('Benghazi Mom') made some compelling statements at the RNC earlier this week. When NBC played a clip, it was her ineffectively name-calling HRC. Did they play the part where she said HRC lied to her face at the coffin ceremony (which was far more compelling)? No.

Neither is very good at reporting actual news. They both cater to their base audience, which is nauseating on multiple levels.

Who does the OT watch?
The OT watches Fox because it is more alpha and has babes.

On a regular basis and/or on all of this presidential crap?
The OT does not need to watch to the presidential shite, because the OT has already rigged the election. We are like the Supreme leader of Iran, but with truck nuts.

I'd rather watch the weather channel, but I do watch fox/cnn with the volume off to check out the bimbos.

I think you're mostly right here. But I look at like Republicans watch Fox, Democrats watch MSNBC, and people who want it unbiased watch CNN. With the exception of Don Lemon, CNN is about as unbiased as it gets.

It's like watching Sunbelt or C-USA football. Both suck but gotta choose one. I don't watch the Clinton News Network very much. Way too left for my taste
