For an in-ground pool.

you mean like the dolphin?

I bought the Polaris 4 wheel drive robotic a few months ago---life changing!
It picks up minute grains that the other one with the tail couldn't ever get. And I no longer have the damn tail spraying the entire back of the house with salt water.

We are about to build a pool within the next year.
I don't even know where to start in terms of taking care of it, safety, etc.

@Marco Esquandolas
Nice tile on the pool! We have the Polaris with tank treads (855?), does a great job. From another thread on the outdoor board, I wonder if there's a comparable dolphin model model for less money?

I have a lower end dolphin model approximately $600 that is well worth the money. Cleans all the way up to the water line and completes the entire pool in two hours. Love it.

Damn, Marco's pool looks pretty tight.

I settled on the dolphin nautilus plus. Felt it was a great value at the price point. Didn't see the need to spend more on the others.

Ethnically challenged crackhead. They'll scrub it with a toothbrush for $20.

Thank you all for the responses. I knew I could rely on the OT to steer me in the right direction.

I have the Dolphin Nautilus as well and couldn't be happier with it. I'm also a former Polaris owner.

Great forum for info, but not sure how so many have time to test and add chemicals daily with their TFPC method.
