This isn't about loving 1 kid more than the others, I love all my kids equally. I am just wondering if it's natural to have a preference.

FWIW My mom and sister talk at least 3x's a day, they go by each other's house practically every weekend, and my mom still feels the need to give her financial support at 28 years old. If my mom had to pick a favorite, I'm sure it would be her over me and my brother.

My favorite is the one not deserving of a beating at any given time.

I'm your Dad, and you're not my favorite.

The worst thing parents can do is have favorites. It is devastating to the other kids.

It changes from day to day, usually depending on who is listening the best and aggravating me the least.

Youngest single sex child. So if parents have two sons then a daughter, the daughter will be treated best. If the parents have two daughters then a son, the son will be treated best.

No. Even though I have one making better life decisions than the other right now, I love them both the same.

Pretty interesting topic.

2 years ago I'd say my sister was the favorite with her being a lawyer and all. I don't know now since she's married. She's married to a broke clinger now.

We've both been off the tit since college. I guess I'd say I'm the "favorite" since I'm the only single one left.

Heck no. They each have their own unique things about them but I don't favor one over the other. Or I didn't anyways, my son is going on 13 and that age is awkward to say the least.

To be honest, it can be hard to do. The way personalities are, children tend to take on more of one parent's personality than the other's, thus they will relate better to one or the other.
