Never do this. Seriously, don't do that. Never put anything other than your baby and his/her clothes on their body in the crib.

You don't have a mattress, sheets, or air in they crib?

I'd love to suck on Margot Robi's titties as an adult. Does that count?

Not at 10 weeks

They can go as long as they sleep without eating. Mine was sleeping about 8 hours through at that age

You all have been a huge help, every one of you. It's amazing how many different pieces of advice you get and I guess that is obviously because each child is different.

In my 30s but first child, has been quite an adjustment. Will incorporate some mix of all of this. We have had a strict schedule for him recently, bath every night, etc, has helped some. Any other suggestions keep them coming!

Please don't do cereal at ten weeks without talking to your doctor

Mine wouldn't sleep at all at first. But was sleeping through the night by 8 weeks. I went against the back to sleep rule and it made all the difference

Joking answer: a heavy pillow over the face or some whiskey in the bottle does wonders.

Real answer: that's pretty good for the night. Is there a specific reason for not sleeping during day? Noise (which shouldn't be a problem if you have maintained your normal noise level since before birth), hungry, not being held? Is he swaddled still? Besides the obvious is their any difference in the conditions where/how he sleeps at night compared to the morning?

Sending good vibes yalls way. Please stay patient with yourself, baby and your S/O.

I've done 4, and this is all solid, especially adding the rice cereal

At ten weeks you should be able to wake him/her up around 10 for a feeding and they should make it to 6-6:30. You should be getting close to 8 hours sleep

A 10 week old baby will wake up and let you know when they are hungry. No need to wake a sleeping baby for a feeding.

For me the sleep sac things get my two month old to sleep for 8+ hrs at night.
FYI, your 2 month old shouldn't be sleeping 8+ hours at night. Please tell Scruffy you are waking to feed.

Try the Ferber Method. Went through a similar situation with our infant. I will say that most docs and sleep experts recommend you wait until 4 months to do any type of sleep training but we tried at 3 months and she took to it. One night of crying in the crib and by the second night she was sleeping all night except for one feeding.

It's literally survival mode at this time. It does get better, I didn't believe it would but it did.

Can't help you. I have a 10 year old that refuses to nap and wakes up after 5-6 hours.

So did I. For my first child, this wasn't a "thing". For baby #2 nearly 5 years later (God's plan, not mine on the timing) he wouldn't sleep unless he was on his stomach. My mom fussed at me. The doctor fussed. And then he said "I have to tell you this is the recommendation ... you're nursing .. no one smokes ... if your child won't sleep otherwise then back should be ok".

Made ALL the difference for him.
