Also, I tried two services. Trunk Club and Men's Style Box. Msb is cheaper or just includes some less expensive stuff and some of the same exact stuff, but the service level isn't the same.
If you are single, can afford it, and aren't a great shopper, you could really up your game by using Trunk Club imhofwiw. I've scored two pairs of shoes that alone would have made the entire experience worth it for me.

Having to send shite I don't like back sounds like more of a hassle than just going online and picking out what I want.

I've used it once just to try it out. Service is great. Shipping back is easy and I highly doubt they would frick you over with the shipping as some have suggested here. It is a pretty personal experience.
Very pricey though. I ended up buying 2 pairs of pants and a dress shirt. I liked it but haven't used it after that. Hasn't been much of a need for me.

Do they carry Dickies and Rockport?

I love the clothes threads.

It's South Louisiana. Brooks Bro's for work is almost a universal. Under Armour polos are great for hot weather. Frye has more than just the Affliction number you pulled up.
Not going for Seersucker if you live here? Enjoy the Carhartt's bitch.

Are the under armour tee shirts for wearing as under shirts or just around town?
The only non buckle on the ankle frye boots were weathered looking little half army boots. Show us the good ones.
And yes, you wear coveralls to weddings if you don't won't to look like colonel Sanders.

Undershirts dumbass. Geezus I mention them along with underwear and even mention that you'll have some undershirts, and you infer from that somehow that I'm suggesting he wear that to dinner?
Gee you're dumb brah.
ETA: One handed Googling while drinking coffee found dozens of pairs of Frye men's ankle-and-Chelsea boots without straps.

You're making it way too easy to make you look way too stupid way too early.

Sounds cool. The OT is generally a place that if you choose to do anything other than the norm your manhood is questioned. So stupid.

No problems if that's how you want to try and "shop" for your clothing. I have found that simply asking the wife works for my fashion needs.
You insulted the op and yourself in the same post.

The OT is hysterical, and their appalled responses to this thread are pretty much par for the course.
Apparently it's beta to have clothes picked for you and shipped to you, but they recommend you go to a store and get help from the in-store assistants. So, you're still getting your clothes picked for you? The fact that they're shipped to you is what's unacceptable? The fact that it says you have a "personal stylist" instead of "someone you talk to at the store who helps you"?
I've done Trunk Club before, but I stopped after a couple months. I didn't love their choices, and I actually don't mind going to the store to shop for my clothes. I don't do it for shoes (I'm loyal to a fault with Zappos), but I like doing it for clothes. It's also a great place to pickup talent if you have any game

I know some of the people who work at Trunk Club corporate in NYC and Chicago. They are, invariably, very attractive women. Most of their stylists are smoke as well.
I've never tried it, but I've seen it work for some guys.
I used to be a pretty loyal Brooks Brothers guy, but their fits have become terrible. It's designed for husky people. There's also too much cloth around the wrist, neck, and waist on most of their shirts for my liking.
If you can swing it, try to find a high end merchant (Saint Laurie Merchant, Ascot Chang, etc) second-hand or off-market. I've also known guys that have gone through tailors in places like Hong Kong or Thailand and get really nice bespoke suits and shirts for $200 - 300 a piece. They look like $3,000 suits at a tenth of the price.
If you're doing a job that requires a lot of client-facing, then I think it's worth it to seriously invest in your attire, but that's just one man's opinion.
I think Trunk Club looks at Bonobos as their biggest competitor, FWIW.
