TAM tailgate

Posted by Amyylove on 9/16/25 at 6:51 pm
I’m coming into town with some buddies for the A & M game. It’s been a while since I’ve been to campus. What is the tailgating scene like? The last time I was there was in the late 90s/ early 2000s. I knew so many people back then and just rolled from tailgate to tailgate. Are people still as hospitable? What is the etiquete for joining? Bring alcohol, offer cash? I don’t want to be a bum.
I saw those, but wasn’t sure about the quality.

Need LSU gear recommendations

I’m looking for the best looking LSU polo for men. Bonus if moisture wicking and athletic cut. TIA
The majority of LSU fans think LSU is always disrespected and overlooked. Those purple tinted glasses are tough to see through sometimes.
I agree with the celebrity worship comment. My point is they knew who he was and he was on the way to play a football game. I think this occurred very close to the stadium. I think that a reasonable person would see the threat in this situation as low.

Those cops knew who he was. He wasn’t a threat.

Skip San Diego. Go to Carlsbad. The beaches are better and the downtown has just enough to do for a day trip.

I think that the state could use two state schools that excel in athletics and academics. If the UL name helps them do that, then great. The insecurity of some LSU people is confounding. I don’t get it.
He is still injured. It is pretty clear.

This may have been covered, but does anyone think this was a strategic move to have him announce this after signing day?
Who cares what opposing fans think? Such a dumb concept.
Every year we see this take. It’s old.

re: Whiniest fan base in the nation

I totally agree. I’ve never seen more insecure, whining adults. It is awful. People have their entire identities wrapped up in a bunch of kids playing a game. I’m a huge LSU fan and have been an athlete at LSU. I hope they do well as much as the next guy, but some of the opinions and thoughts about this team are unhelpful and unhealthy.
Subtle brag thread is not subtle.
Talking about GOATs if they are not in the NFL hall of fame. That needs to go too.
Sayings that need to stop.

Cardiac cats
Thunder and lightning RBs
Gorilla with a chainsaw for a penis
Finna eat
DBU
Sleeping giant

Any others?
The athletic department would not exist without the university. If you want to decouple the two go ahead and start paying the players.

You get “whipped” for more than a few weeks and you will always be a bit injured. The first 8 months to a year is a steep learning curve.

I agree. The attitude of some on this board is astounding. Louisiana is objectively dead last in many educational categories. The approach and thinking many are taking to the issue of WW, Alleva, and Alexander show exactly why. To not support the foundation because you are having a hissy fit over a basketball couch is asinine.

I'll always love LSU but its getting harder and harder to stay emotionally invested.

That is on you.
It is not a zero sum game considering that you have to develop talent and take your lumps. That is how I view losses. It sucks, but I’m willing to accept them if we continue to see improvement and learning. The answer is yes.
