OP, it is going to suck the big one for you. Been there and had to fight the system and only came out with 25% of my lost. And yes, I pushed as hard as I could. Dude was going to walk free all together.

Janice is a civil judge. She doesn’t handle a criminal docket

Well that’s discouraging. I was hoping for at least a year in jail and strict probation until restitution is paid

Look, the reality is that there are far too many variables involved to be able to give you anything resembling a firm answer, and I say that as someone who is a practicing criminal defense attorney who has handled more cases in the 19th JDC than I can count.

This process is likely to take the better part of a year. Sit down, buckle up, and have a little patience.

It's a ballpark. Will depend on the judge.

The ADA has three months to make a billing decision from date of arrest (it's technically more complicated than that, but based on the facts of this case, I believe it will be 90 days). Once billed, the defendant has to be set for arraignment. After arraignment, because this is a felony, the matter will be set for a motions date. Depending on evidentiary issues, it could be reset for motions or status some number of times. Eventually, it will be set for pretrial and trial.

I could tell you which judges tend to have quick dockets and which have dockets that drag, but I'm disinclined

Anyway, the State will have two years from institution of prosecution to bring this to trial, or otherwise resolve it.

One year is a nice, round average for a felony case like this without knowing further detail.

Fields is lazy and didn’t sign a judgement until 6-8 weeks after petition was granted

No worries. If you have any other specific questions, feel free to ask. I'll answer if I can.

Also a civil judge who doesn't carry a criminal docket.

Criminal judges in the 19th JDC:

Crifasi, Anderson, Erwin, Jackson, Daniel, Johnson, Higginbotham, White.

Thanks God. BR would be even less safe with her in criminal court.

I appreciate that the only reason I haven't been doxxed on TD is because no one gives a shite, but I imagine it's going to happen eventually, so I'd rather not answer questions that could be construed as my favoring/disfavoring judges
