So since it crossed state lines and everything, do you think louisiana state police could maybe put a little pressure on the Mississippi guys?
Or, FBI since there is a hint of corruption on the part of the police in Columbia.

One thing to remember, the shop owner has had this bike for years and is absolutly lying the entire time.
That’s incredible that he would talk to you for that long. It was pretty obvious that he was lying and pretty obvious that you knew he was lying. And yet he still tried to make excuses and explain things. And also seemed to incriminate himself (and the lady) a few times too.

This is the second call.
At about 6:15 of that video, I can hear you trying not to laugh at her.

"You're out of money, because you've got a bike that you cannot get titled-"
"No, I've got the title. Do you have a title?
".................no."
You killed her. I haven't had time to finish the video yet, did you need a oiuja board for the next 10 minutes?

I don’t know why but I really enjoy listening to these conversations

It's funny, because both of them know they're caught, but they're still trying to hold onto the lie.

Yeah, it's pretty funny that shortly into the conversations it dawn's on each of them that they aren't dealing with an idiot and probably aren't gonna end up taking advantage of another sucker.

Maybe they keep talking bc they know the law is sort of on their side (like locals especially) and they know they can keep getting away with this shite. That’s why I wish SOMEBODY would at least lift a fricking finger and look into this shite.

I do have to say that I was expecting a different type of person with the given names of Terry and Karen.
These are the type of people I like to tell to go screw themselves when dealing with them. They sit here and give me this bullshite. Basically they stole a bike, "upgraded" it, used it for years and then tried to come up with this story when they were found out.
Also, he wrecked the bike and fixed it and was blaming it on some fictitious customer.
ETA: Karen sounds like I imagined

Yeah he has to have wrecked it, right? That’s what I didn’t understand. If it was stolen from BJ several years ago, I assume it wasn’t wrecked when it was stolen. So for the dude to be like “you should’ve seen it, it was wrecked so bad...” is just laughable.
I haven’t listened to the Karen call yet but can’t wait to see what that idiot has to say. Unfortunately, like we’ve said, there’s nothing to stop them from doing this shite time and time again if law enforcement refuses to do anything about it.

I couldn't get through it all. For some reason her voice and demeanor are giving me PTSD.

I'm telling you, my accent is my superpower. Nothing says completely harmless like my accent. Folks will just talk and talk. I basically questioned these folks nonstop without giving up any information for 15 minutes each. Karen was wary but gave up the info anyway.
I think I'm going to double down on the good guy routine. I think I'm going to reach out to Karen and tell her something like "I'm not going to reach out to law enforcement but you need to protect yourself". I might see if I can get her to turn on Terry by letting her know that I know and can prove he stole it. I might say something like I'd turn him in but you broke the law too or something and I want to protect you.
I need to figure this out. Since law enforement won't do anything we can at least have some fun.

Do you know any local cops in Louisiana?
Wait a couple years. Get the cop to call her one day and say "hey, we just recovered this bike from a drug bust, and the last documentation on it says that you had applied for a title."

Just finished listening to the call to the shop owner. Your accent sounds like a cross between Bill Engvall and Lewis Grizzard but it reminds me of someone else that I think of at the moment.

Then you know what to do, baw.
Sit on this for a few years, then prank call Karen and tell her you've recovered a stolen motorcycle with paperwork going back to her.
