There’s your problem. You have Google. I have over four decades of deep study of history with an emphasis on WWII. So the difference between you and I is I can tell when I’m reading bullshite on the internet and you can’t.

LINK
I mean here’s the link you posted earlier that you pretty much copied word for word. The only link within that blog post that mentions Russian suppling oil to Japan is a russian state owned page that no longer exists. Your words not mine.

It’s apparent that you threw decades of your life in to the trash because you know absolutely nothing!

I answered the question first quickly after the question was first posted and succinctly addressing the question and just giving the answer without all the pontificating and self-congratulating

So I know nothing? Ok. Explain. Tell us all how I know nothing. I’ll wait.

Racist?

That’s all you’ve got? To call me racist? How the hell do you get the absurd idea that I’m “racist” from a discussion of Japanese oil supplies during WWII?

That's what I do when I "quote" something from an article I link to. Word for word is proper under this board's guidelines as long at attribution is given.

All oil in Russia is state-owned. Just as it was during the USSR.

I'll post one more quote and link explaining Japan's claim on mineral rights in the USSR:
quote:

As a result of military victories against China in 1895 & Russia in 1905, Japan gained territory & some related mineral rights.

Under this imperative push for strategic resources, the Imperial Japanese Army focused on: Manchuria, North China, Mongolia and the Soviet Union...

Oil and War 10/24/2018 By Captain Paul E. Mawn USN (Retired)

Perhaps Captain Mawn, USN (Retired) is a Russian spy or Russain state-owned, right?

If you want to continue believing that Japan did not get any crude oil from the USSR territory during WWII, that's okay with me.

Does that make you feel better?

From your own link…

Notice how it doesn’t list the USSR as a source of oil for Japan?

Imagine if these oil haters had to provide oil to run WW3? They would raise the white flag and give in than protect our nation by drilling for oil

WWII was a war over oil in many ways.

Hitler should tried to leave Russia alone and go all in on capturing the middle east for oil, then figure out how to protect their supply chain.

Another difference between us is I know when you write "between you and I" you're using incorrect grammar.

You're supposed to use the objective case word "me" not the subjective case word "I" because it's the object of the preposition "between."

People who use the subjective case "I" are just trying to impress others with how smart they think they sound when what they're really doing is displaying their ignorance and lack of education.

Maybe you should have spent a little more time learning English grammar and not 40 years gluing together model airplanes and tanks from WWII. Or, maybe it's just too much glue sniffing on your part...

For 10 years his best comeback has been "show me a link". TD was better in his absence.

What? I’ve denied the Holocaust on this board?

I’ll tell you what. Let’s make a bet. A ban bet. You show me one instance of me saying anything close to resemblance to denying the Holocaust even once on this board, and I’ll never post again on the OT. But if you can’t find where I’ve ever denied the Holocaust, you must exile yourself from the OT in perpetuity.

Do we have a bet?

lol you realize Russia won the war for us, right? By "us", I mean the rest of Europe.

Hitler wanted part of Russia for oil. He had domestic coal that could be synthesized into oil and he had Romania but needed much more.

Resorting to grammatical corrections.

I’ll take this as your capitulation on the subject at hand.
