Two people mentioned it, but form.

I am at a major plateau with the bench press. My one rep PR is 225 and I can get 5 reps with 205, but I feel like I am stuck and not improving

ask your husband for advice?

Try going lighter and doing sets by double bouncing at the bottom. Builds strength and endurance.

What's so funny? I've done that for years and it's more than improved my bench. Try it at 185 lbs, you probably won't get 8 reps when normally you can get 15.

Stop trying to increase your bench by bench pressing...

Incline/Decline heavy dumbells.

I haven't bench pressed in 3 years

I know its cardio, but swimming 500 yards a week helped me put up 10 lbs after a month

50 yards breatsstroke or navy BUDS stroke warm up, stretch and then 500 yard american crawl as fast as I could. I'm slow so 7 minutes to do it.

Use dumbbells, 3 to 5 rep sets. Heavy dumbbells helped me get stronger in all of my chest exercises. Use them on incline bench too
