What are your goals before the end of the year? I'll bump this thread on New Year's Day and posters can update on how they did/where they went wrong or what they did right.

My goals are to run 1-2x a week, every week, in preparation for a Spartan Race next Spring (the 14 mile one). I hate running so this will be a challenge. Never done a Spartan Race but I'm in decent enough shape from lifting and doing met-cons for conditioning, as well as working on bodyweight gymnastics style skills. Also, I want to get my deadlift to 560, bench to 345, squat to 415, clean and jerk to 305, and snatch to 235. Those aren't all attainable within the year but I'd at least like to move towards them.

Biggest goal is to become more consistent in dieting habits. I look for any excuse to go off the deep end for a night or an entire weekend of excessive cheating. My diet isn't even too restrictive, but I just can't resist smashing pizza and I love cookies or any sugar-loaded bakery item.

Continue on my current strength program, and incorporate some kind of cardio. Looking at some kind of sprint or HIIT protocol. I want to lose about 10 lbs, but that's not super critical, just an ideal best case scenario.

80 push ups/20 pull ups/100 sit ups/15 minute two mile

bench 300 / dead 400 / squat 350 / mpress 170-180. Squat is lagging, so I doubt I'd hit 300 by the end of this year

You don't have to run to lose 15 pounds. Do you lift at all or have you ever lifted? A good lifting program and diet, and you may not lose 15 pounds but maybe 10 instead and some inches off the waist.

Get back down to a solid 170 while keeping my size. Back to running 20mins 5k's. Running at 180 has been rough on me I'm not used to carrying this much weight while running.
