The skin on my fingertips and around my nails is splitting and I can't get it to heal. WTF? I'm tired of bumping them on everything. For the love of God does anyone have any remedies? Thank you.

Put vaseline on them and put socks over your hands at night.

During the winter months my knuckles and finger tips will bleed from being so dry. They usually won't heal until spring, even if I use lotion and other products. My issue comes from washing my hands a lot. In a day I will thoroughly wash my hands 15-20 times a day with super hot water and soap.

Eta: I hate my hands being dirty or oily, which makes applying lotion completely useless and terrifying.

Stop using hot water. It strips your skin of it's natural oils.

Yeah, I don't wash my face with hot water because of this. Just cant take my fingers/hands feeling oily.

Sounds like it could be scleroderma. Serious business. Get in with your PCP to get a referral ASAP.

RIP.

You may want to take a look at your water intake as well. Dehydration can cause skin problems.
