OT Doctors: how many hours to wait to have a beer after taking Excedrin/acetaminophen? Some people say right away, some say 3 hours, and some say wait the whole 6 hours.

Acetaminophen and alcohol can screw up your liver.
I'd wait awhile; probably something like 6-12 hours to be safe (but I'm not a doctor so . . . ).

I gave blood yesterday afternoon.
They said not to drink for 6 hours. As if those vampires know shite. So I waited two hours and was a very cheap date.

It’s not great for your liver but if you’re not taking it every 4-6 hours daily then it’s not going to hurt you

NyQuil he’s both acetaminophen and alcohol in the same medicine, so I think that shite is overblown. I wouldn’t go on a bender or anything, but I don’t think anything will happen to you if you take a Tylenol and drink a single beer.
