I prefer the fridge to the freezer. Today's plastic cans makes the effects less overall, but the fridge will keep it more moist.
Yes on a touch of bourbon. Extensive testing with everything from Ancient Age to Blanton's, and I've found Wild Turkey and Grizzly fine cut natural is the shite. Don't drown the tobacco, though.

I've switched over the last year to General Snus imported from Sweden. About the same price, steam cured instead of fire so it's smoother and doesn't require you to spit if you don't want to. It's meant to be kept in the refrigerator. They keep it in coolers in the stores.
