I've got a pair of silver mint julep cups from the 1966 Kentucky Derby. My dad gave them to me a few months ago. Apparently my grandfather used to go to the races quite a bit. I'm looking for research on them, but can't seem to find any. They are stamped on the bottom with a W&SB what looks like an E underneath it.

The front of the cup has a big B and W stamped on it on top of a three leaf flower.

Thanks in advance!!

Ah... the '66 derby cup is widely considered the finest of all mint julep vessels. Manufactured by Berry and Company and fashioned out of antique silver, this chalice of American history has been the pinnacle of elegance since its inception, when it witnessed Kauai King, jockeyed by Don Brumfield win the one and a quarter mile race in a stunning two minutes and two seconds.

how about a photo?

does the W&SB look like this?

If so... W. &. S Blackinton Company from Meriden, CT founded in 1865.

Would explain the E you see, if the rest has been rubbed off?
