What are your Fathers Day plans?

Church, grill some ribeyes and filets and going to a movie here. Just want to get the kids over and chill and take it easy here.

Early am workout, church, and a couple of us in hood have come together to cook a whole pig. Should be fun!

Only definite plan I have is to try and guilt the old lady into sex.

Possibly a wonderful dinner at Applebee’s pending my ability to stay in between the lines.

My money is on the negative-

We have our camper at the beach for the Summer. We will probably hit the beach in the morning. Probably kayak or fish in the afternoon. Grill tomorrow night.

Church, then putting a brisket on the smoker. Bought my son a slip and slide today and will play with him on it tomorrow. Pretty sure I will ending up hurting Monday morning but when my little buddy asks me to do the slip and slide tomorrow who am I to say no.

Lunch at MIL’s, back home to mess with an old Craftsman radial arm saw refurb project. Then maybe a few brews late in the day.

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if no one in my family even brings it up tomorrow.
We're not a family of celebrating birthdays, etc. with passion. We'll wish everyone a happy birthday, the wife a happy mother's day, etc. but at most we may go out to eat dinner. No big parties, balloons, excessive fanfare about it.

ETA: this is about me. Not my Dad. My father passed away several years ago.

Same. Not actually working, but have too much stuff to do right now to worry about it. Starting a two week vacation, so I am sure me and my little girl will have tons of time to play together.

No plans except for thinking about my Dad, wishing he was still alive.

I kinda feel like it’s not a big deal for me, my dad is out of town so there will be a phone call to him. I don’t feel like I deserve anything special just want to hang with the family. I’ll bring my dad to dinner when he gets back.

The's the best Father's Day gift I could wish for that my son one day says that about me.
