I think my cook cleans as she goes. The staff kitchen is always spotless when I look back there.

You clean T Bobs dishes too so you need to save the time by doing the pre-rinse

It all depends on the event, level/rate/quality of alcohol consumption, and guest list( if applicable) to said cooking event.

By default…clean as I go.

I’m cleaning the entire time I’m cooking. Don’t be a slob.

Since I work from home now, unleashing I’m traveling, I usually cook dinner. I actually really love doing it. As for cleaning up, I will put everything I dirty up in the sink and run water over it. After dinner either my wife or daughter cleans the kitchen and loads the dishwasher.

I clean as I cook. I’m not white trash that leaves dirty dishes in the sink.

I clean as I go. Mixing bowls, utensils I no longer need, etc all get washed as soon as I'm done with them and I'm able to step away from the stove. My wife does the same when she cooks. After we're done cooking we'll fix our plates/bowls and immediately put any leftovers in a container and get the pots and pans soaking in hot water and soap. Then after we eat, whoever didn't cook finishes the dishes which ends up being just the pre-soaked pots and pans and the plates and bowls we ate out of.

It's a system that's worked well for us since we moved in together.

My wife and I split cooking and if you cook the other cleans that night.

See, screw this with my spouse. My wife does most of the inside house chores as I mow and do the maintenance and work more. But we both cook. My wife is absolutely terrible at cleaning as she goes, we fight about it constantly. Boil noodles and she gets 3 pans dirty the pot, the collander, and the serving dish.

If I cook I put the noodles back in the pot to serve and I rinse the collander immediately after use and it is drying ready to be put away. Just cooking for the family there’s no excuse imo to not clean as you go. No one likes doing dishes after dinner.

I try to clean as I go. Immediately after the meal I finish cleaning up. I try to dirty up as few things as possible.

... I always clean as I go ...

even though I have a billion and 2 pots and pans, there is always that one pot I find myself needing at any moment. So I like to be prepared and not have any surprises.
That's the way I roll

Like this afternoon, I decided on a whim to bake a cake to go with some fresh strawberries.
The process took me 30 minutes from scratch, but I had to use my stand mixing bowl for 2 stages.
Cleaned as I went and BOOM I was finished.

Sat down had that delish dessert--- no dirty dishes anywhere
