OT Cheap Airfare of the Week: Nola-Hong Kong $608, Cancun $276, Lima $419

Happy monday everyone. Gotta glue some lead to stainless steel shortly so before I'm worn out thought I'd post this. Finding some cheap interesting fares out of Nola/Gulfport to China, the caribbean and South America. Also, I noticed on living social there's a coupon for flights on virgin america ($5 for $15, $15 for $50, or $25 for $75) so all you dallas, boston, chicago, nyc, seattle and DC people there's some discounts (a few blackout dates). New Orleans to:
Honk Kong: $608 on American. The fare is also available from Gulfport until thanksgiving
Cancun: $276 on American. Now until the third week of November
Lima: $419 on Copa. Now until the third week of December, then a few more dates available in January. Might be a nice getaway since it's summer down there
Bogota: $407 on Copa, $418 on Delta. Now until third week of November, then availability middle of january until May
Sao Paulo Brazil: $394 on Copa. Now through second week of December, then some availability in February
Dallas: $81 on American. Tuesdays and Saturdays until Thanksgiving.

Anything super cheap from gulfport to Atlanta for the month of November? Last time we checked it was $900+ but then again it was for last minute flights. My mother will be having stem cell transplant coming up in Atl.
She's fine driving, but I just thought if we could find some great deals, it could help.

Could you explain why would a ticket to Charleston, SC cost $800 a ticket when I looked a few weeks ago from BR, Jackson or NOLA?

Could have been seat availability issues on either side of the trip, whether that's charleston or around here. Maybe there was an event in BR or Nola like a saints or lsu game and everyone wanted to leave on a sunday night? What dates were you looking for?

I've never actually been on a cruise but I'd probably check things like orbitz or google and type in christmas cruise deals. Looks like there's a bunch to the caribbean from miami over christmas
