Millerville Greens development needs a top golf. There are 15 acres still available since Bucees pulled out.

the old sherwood forest used to have a good one and it is closed. Webb doesn't have one. Can't think of one.

When did legacy open? Used to live out there and moved a little over a year ago and it wasn't open then.

I'm not sure. I was there for a tennis thing last summer, and the driving range was open.

Santa Maria is the closest. That's actually a nice driving range. You can practice any shot there.

Legacy ( The old Sherwood Forrest CC) has a driving range. I believe its the only stand alone driving range around.

Can you practice hitting out of a fairway bunker there? I do like how you can practice all approach shots 100 and in. That is a nice feature you don't see very often but I can only honk of one driving range I have been to where you can practice out to the limits of your range in a fairway bunker.

If you're talking about being able to take a full swing of an iron out of sand, no. But I don't think you could practice that shot at any driving range unless you physically brought some sand with you. I thought I saw a sand trap on their chipping green though, or in the driving range area. Can't remember.

The goal is to not hit it in the bunker in the first place

CCL has a bunker next to the chipping green that is also on the side of the driving range so you can hit out of it down the driving range. Very great practice.

I get the point of not hitting in there in the first place, but shite happens and they have bunkers actually in the fairway not just off to the side in the rough. Makes for a more strategic round.

Sad that a city the size of br is lacking in golf options.
