Keenan at Aesthetica Salon on Perkins by Lee is really good. The Mercer brothers at Mercer Supply at 1010 Nicholson are great and Kelli Hutchinson at The Hair Show on Perkins and Acadian is also really good.

Does it have to be in Baton Rouge? I can recommend an old school, with the little barber swirly thing on the outside, old men inside talking sports, politics, hunting & fishing.. And gossiping type place, right outside of baton rouge, but they are not open on Sunday's and Monday's.

The Barber's name is Jeff. He started off as an apprentice there, before I was even born (im 39), when the old guy (Frank) who he started working for, retired, he bought it from him.
If you are really looking for an old school barber, I promise, you will not be disappointed.
