Orlando nightclub victims’ families sue Facebook, Twitter, Google for helping IS radicalise shooter

Families of three victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting that left 50 dead and 53 wounded in June this year have sued tech giants Facebook, Google and Twitter for allegedly providing “material support” to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group and helping radicalise shooter Omar Mateen.
According to a Fox News report, the lawsuit was filed in federal court in the eastern district of Michigan on Monday on behalf of the families of Tevin Crosby, Javier Jorge-Reyes and Juan Ramon Guerrero, stating that the three web platforms “provided the terrorist group IS with accounts they use to spread extremist propaganda, raise funds and attract new recruits.”
“Without Defendants Twitter, Facebook, and Google (YouTube), the explosive growth of IS over the last few years into the most feared terrorist group in the world would not have been possible,” Fox News cited the lawsuit as saying. “They create unique content by combining IS postings with advertisements in a way that is specifically targeted at the viewer. Defendants share revenue with IS for its content and profit from IS postings through advertising revenue,” the lawsuit alleged.

It's really sad that in today's society, one of the first things going through a mind after a major tragedy, even death of loved ones, is "hmmm how can I make money off this?"

Nothing less satisfying that having one of two to blame.
1. The deceased. (Not in this case but in say a single victim DUI accident)
2. A dead bat shite crazy frick or fricks who were killed by police.
somebody alive always has to be blamed. And if that person or entity has deep pockets? Even better.

So how many family members that are party to this lawsuit have their own accounts on Facebook, Twitter, or Google?
I feel bad for families that lost someone in an act of terror...but suing social media over it seems like a major desperate, greedy reach.
Judge should throw the case out and force the plaintiffs to pay defense's legal fees as punishment for such a ridiculous lawsuit. Hopefully Facebook, Twitter and Google then file for a restraining order to prevent any family member who was party to the lawsuit from ever using their service in the future and disabling all current accounts.
