Well, sucks for them. I'd try to work it out after 20 years unless there were some underlying issues that weren't fixable.

Worked out hard as hell all fall of 93 and walked in the athletic office in January 94. I told a secretary I wanted to walk on and Bo Bahnsen took me right in and they gave me a locker the next day. They took anyone back then.
As for Hallman, He met with me 1 on 1 about my goals and performance for at least 20 minutes in the 'new' Athletic Bldg. And he helped jump my POS Chevette after spring practice one day.

My general instinct says "bullshite".
