What is the best place to order eyeglasses online. Everywhere that I have tried in Baton Rouge will need to order my lenses and will take 10-14 days. If I am going to do that i may as well order myself and either save some money or get them faster.

Has anyone ordered glasses online and what company did you use?

I ordered from Zenni and bought 3 pairs with the cheapest lenses. I have zero issues with them so far. I figured that if I liked them, I'd just keep ordering pairs since they were under $10/pair. I'd do it again.

I order mine from Zenni Optical and have nothing but the highest of things to say about them. Very inexpensive, and I love my glasses.

They usually do a 20% off sale on patriotic holidays, and the 4th is coming up, so if you can wait I'd possibly wait and see if they do it. They're cheap regardless though. $5 flat shipping no matter how many you order.

You will need to measure your PD (pupillary distance). The doctors rarely include this in your prescription because it is the people in the sales shop that measure it. They want you to spend money there, so they do this intentionally.

I recommend measuring it yourself and then have someone else measure you to be sure.

I've ordered 3 or 4 pairs from Warby Parker. It's not a quick process though. They'll send you 5 frames to try on before you order, but once you order it only takes a week or so for them to arrive. Most of theirs are around $100 for frames and lenses.

i've also ordered from warby parker, good experience. there are also in-person stores that you can try frames on and even get eye exams.

also have some roka frames/lenses that also do the "home try on". no complaints about warby parker or roka.

Zenni is awesome, especially if you're looking for Rx sunglasses. For $20, it's nice to not worry about scratching them or losing them overboard during summer water activities.

I wear contacts 99% of the time so my glasses are just backup but it's so nice to have several pairs so inexpensively.

My last pair was ordered from Glassesusa.com. Enter your vision insurance and it adjusts the shown prices for all frames/lenses. I ended up getting a solid pair of raybans for like $20 when it was all said and done.

I've been using contactlensking for my contacts and they had some of the better prices I had seen at the time.
