Options for getting out of Louisiana?

Between hurricanes, crime, and New Iberia I'm starting to consider getting out. I'm close to 10 years deep in to an industrial fabrication/construction career. What are my options? If I sell my house (which I have a good bit of equity in) my monthly bills are about $200 so working at a McDonald's in Montanta is worth considering.

Everyone always talks about moving when something bad happens. Your options are anywhere other than Louisiana. Stop talking about it and do it or STFU.

Drive, fly, boat, or walk. You may get shot trying to walk though.

I left Louisiana a long time ago for Wyoming.
I couldn’t be happier.
Do it and never look back.

Some people need jobs and don’t depend on the government, Chris. Your checks keep coming no matter where you are, fat boy.

I probably made more than you today when I sold a bunch of shares of a stock that was up 17% from when I bought it. I will put a bunch of $100 bills around my dick held together by a rubber band and slap you with it.

You're proud of that? I have everything I need already.

If you are stupid enough to come onto fricking tigerdroppings and ask what YOUR best options are for leaving Louisiana bc there was a hurricane than came through and pushed your pussy arse over the edge...then you are a dumbfrick and a pussy and we dont want you here. Bye.

I left about a month ago and don't miss it one bit. It's amazing how polite people are outside of the south.

Some guy a while back posted about making a ridiculous amount of money tending bar at a ski resort. They even threw in room and board.

I've been in Katy since 2008, but had my offer for some acreage up near Magnolia accepted today and will be building up there.
If you want a country feel but close to the city and jobs look south of Magnolia but north of 99.
