No shite. Whoever says otherwise is a fricking poontang.
If your kids are over say 8 or 9 you may consider going to Premier Lanes(Gonzales) or Quarters(Sherwood) where you can let them do their thing while you have better food and full bar.
But for younger kids' safety , Chuck E Cheese has a legit system to keep them from getting kidnapped.

Only been to the locations in NO (Metairie and Algiers) and they're both trashy. Pizza is crappy and no beer. The crowd of people in there are 75% trashy and don't supervise their kids at all. If you just want to take your kid to let them play some games for a little while, its not too bad on weekdays or EARLY Sat/Sun.

Probably. None of the food is terrible unless they completely fricked it up. I prefer wings to pizza and they're decent.
Pretty much as long as the place isn't crowded your kid(s) will have fun and they won't care about the food not being great.

its all about location. the one in cool springs by me is fairly nice because its surrounded by million dollar homes.
they still have the '1 token' concept but it uses a swiper like dave & busters and its a LIE
'1 virtual token' is now like 37 cents when you buy them so its how they're getting away with keeping all the games one price, slowly reduce the number of tokens you get and since its on a card, you don't notice it as much.
eta and the new GIGANTIC GALAGA 2017 game is the shite
Make sure you try it out.

I could never enjoy the place when our kids were younger and wanted to have a party there or go to friends' parties. It never feels clean, it's very loud and the food sucks.
It's one of those things you just suck it up and tolerate for a couple hours a few times in your life because you love your kids and want to make them happy. Then when they are a little older you take them places with real food so they don't want to go to places like chuck E cheese.

And the pizza can't be worse than Microwave, huh?
It's a step up from that. I don't find the pizza bad, just not anything special either. The wings are better than the pizza though.
We try and avoid bringing the kids there though because I feel like I need to run my kids through a car wash after playing with the machines. You can tell they don't sanatize everything very often.

This. If OP is really in Washington then he doesn't run the risk of venturing to the one on Sherwood Forest in BR. Wooooof.

Buncha fancy motherfrickers.
Guess I'm just white trash. It's fine with me.

who are you trying to convince your not a racist? just yourself?
clearly you have white skin, guess what padnuh? Most of the world assumes you are already racist.
The crowd is what you would expect - very low income. The place is what you would expect an establishment filled with low SES types to be like - shitty.

There was a time, as recently as last year, when I didn't mind it. The pizza was decent enough, and everything was just one token.
Recently, however, most things require two tokens and they've gone to using one of those debit card like things instead of tokens and tickets.
Tickets and tokens were the shizznit. Damn technology.

Bingo. I'm poor and don't mind sharing public spaces with black folks. Does that make me a try-hard?

your the one who continually is mentioning skin color.
Continually? I'm confused. I said it more than once? Wasn't on purpose. I was focusing on the being poor part and white trash just fits the expression.
I try and have a good time with the chirrens and not spend alot of money. I try very hard at that. We go to the BR zoo and Brec parks and shite. I guess we're easy to please.
