Only 6 people referenced in “We Didn’t Start the Fire” are still alive; who will be next?

With the passing of Doris Day (RIP in peace), only Queen Elizabeth II, Brigette Bardot, Chubby Checker, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr remain from Billy Joel’s 1989 hit. I’m going to go out and say the Queen will be first, and Chubby will go last.

1. Queen Elizabeth II
2. Bob Dylan
3. Ringo Starr
4. Brigette Bardot
5. Sir Paul McCartney
6. Chubby Checker

What do the psychics of tOT project?

It’s really weird to me that you know enough about the song to pull out the 6 living people referenced, yet not enough about the song to know who sings it

Queen Elizabeth is a reptilian. She's only 22 in human years.

Not the OP's fault.

Bernie Goetz is still alive.

The Beatles aren't mentioned individually so you would have to count at least the headliners from movies if you count Paul and Ringo. Vera Miles (Psycho) is still alive. Wheel of Fortune = Pat Sajak and Vanna White. Didn't look up all the movies but there are likely a few more there.

Moonshot could mean Apollo 11 in which case Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin are still alive. Or it can mean the Apollo program, in which case 4 of the astronauts are still here.

Ole Miss is dead in football but it's presumably mentioned due to James Meredith, who is also still alive.

The queen and cockroaches will band together to fight Keith Richards for control of the earth after we're all gone.

I wish Billy Joel would do an updated version since we replaced the Russians in Afghanistan.

It's been 30 years. Just about time for a new version.

The OT could probably do it.
