They do a lot of things better, especially in food

Canadian bacon (the real stuff) is better than American (the fake stuff) Canadian bacon

Canadian chocolate (under stricter European laws) is way better than American chocolate

Canadian dairy (stricter laws) is better than American dairy

Canadian TV seems better with sex and violence and more humor and education stuff

If they just rebrand “ketchup flavored” to “artisan style sun dried tomato” they’d be a huge hit.

It's all right, but was kind of a shock to both me and the waiter the first time I requested ketchup with fries in Canada.

Granted it can be dull up there at times it reminds me of America in the 50's where people were polite and had cocktails with your neighbors all the time. I do appreciate they drink to et buzzed but refrain from getting hammered by drinking too much.

Im not sure why they sound worse to people.....

A fake BBQ flavored chip or a sour cream and onion chip is appealing, but a fake ketchup flavored chip isnt? Especially considering ketchup is normally accustomed to going on fried potatoes
