Disgracing my birth year. I was hoping the first one would be like the usual math threads here where there is some discussion about how to solve it.

These just make me sad that there are adults that can't do this.

Shane, I'm sorry if I came across as an a-hole. But, you need to buckle down so you can pass.

There are shortcuts you can use to multiply fractions, and the same goes for decimals. Multiplying decimals is especially easy. Once you get the tricks down, and once you understand the basics of grouping, you will do really well.

What the hell does 1 1/4 mean? There is no operator between the 1 and the 1/4 Is that supposed to be 5/4?
