Agreed, but when a party appeals to the criminal element and celebrates or excuses criminal behavior in society for the sake of political power, what do we really expect to happen? It’s happening in every blue city, and Baton Rouge is a blue city. Democrat cities all over this country have experienced spikes in criminal activity because, well, Democrats. That’s why.

The upside to this is that maybe when this happens close to where the people who buy into the falsehood that they can insulate themselves from the effect of their own politics, perhaps they’ll begin to question their own political positions and demand change themselves. As long as they delude themselves with the idea that they are safe and the effects of their own cavalier attitude toward criminal behavior will not impact their own lives, nothing will be done about it.
I honestly hope this happens right next door to the homes of this city’s leaders. There is nothing good that comes from this happening much further down the road. Only when they are themselves made to feel very uncomfortable will the criminal element ever be cracked down upon.

Crazy theory...maybe the victim knew cops would be there and thought it might be a decent place to go to lose the tpos chasing him with a gun. Good chance that the tpos isn't familiar with that area and fell directly in his trap but it was too late. The tpos was shooting him no matter where they ended up.
If the road rage incident happened on the interstate, that Benny's is a good ways off of it so doubt he was going to get his car washed all pissed off from getting cut off or something

This is a shame. I understand the fact that it would be difficult to obtain clear titles to the properties in the Valley Park community, we are talking about an area that is made up of 10 small streets. Just think, it could become like one of those Del Webb developments.

Jarmal Jackson, facing 2nd degree murder charges, illegal use of a weapon (felon). Over a road rage incident.
Sounds like Tatney pulled into the Benny’s car wash vacuum area to confront this tPOS and was shot to death. Not a smart thing to do in a crime ridden place like BR where there’s a good chance that other person is armed with a hand gun.

So appears more details are coming out and that Jarmal was acting in self-defense. If true, there are some really bad tales in this thread.
