How 'bout we rename the Democrat Party? After all, weren't the Democrats fighting to keep slaves on the plantations? Weren't the Democrats the ones who started the KKK?
After Saint George was supposedly murdered by cops in Minneapolis it seemed to be a trend, where any thing related to slavery and the civil war from the Confederacy's prospective, was eliminated or changed. Schools, military bases, streets, buildings, etc. were all changed to appease a certain group. Statues that stood for decades were dismantled to quell the unrest from that group. And that same group is 100% in support of the Democrat Party and its' maggots that pose as politicians. Go figure!

In my heart, they’re still the Washington Football Team.

One can call something anything they desire. I have been calling Florida Baja Georgia ever since I read "Baja Oklahoma" by Dan Jenkins. No matter how many times Mr. Jenkins or myself refer to Florida or Texas with that name they will always be Florida and Texas. I do not have the audience of platform of Dan Jenkins but The Gulf of America is being proposed by a senile old man so that name will be tossed aside like a used condom when he is no longer a thing. It is nice of some of you to humor the old bastard though....being mean to elderly dementia patients is a bad look...

I don't know how senile Trump really is, since he seems to have been pretty retarded even when he was younger. Doesn't senility imply that a person used to not be retarded?

For that matter, Biden seems to have been pretty retarded even when he was younger, too.

You ain't wrong on either count my friend. To think that either is or was fit to be president speaks volumes about the state of politics in the United States.

I will say, Gulf of Mexico works much better in songs than "Gulf of America"
Yep, sure does...

There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin'
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Americaaaa
Unless you sing it "Gulfa 'Mericaaa" maybe
