I love this stuff! I like to mix it with the Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion stuff to really scrub. That's probably wrong, but incredibly satisfying.

The rainforest water foundation in the spring. I love it, but I like light coverage and for my freckles to show through. Just gotta be careful what primer is under it.

This last one I got the shape tape hydrating. I will cry when they stop making it. Bonus, they have both of these in pale enough shades for me.

I have the bye bye foundation and the cc cream but they both tend to oxidize and sometimes fair isn’t light enough.

I got the Tarte Foundcealer in a Sephora box & I like it
It’s a little dark so I mix it with a CC cream

If I were to buy a foundation I would go with Tarte

I got that too and mine was also too dark. I’m pretty much translucent

Until I got the 2 I listed above I was strictly a foundation only on fancy days girl. Both of those are so light in coverage I don’t feel like I have one makeup.

Before I was using benefit but, as usual for them, they discontinued my product

They run incredibly dark. I'm in the 2nd lightest shade, and I'm not a super pale person. I got the CC cream in my Ipsy and had to give it away because it is so dark on me.

The Bye Bye Foundation was a learning curve for me for sure. It is soooooo thick - I assume because of the high SPF. I bought the darn $24 foundation brush to apply it, but that makes it way too thick and I hate the streaky lines. I learned though if I use a primer or moisturizer with a high % of silicone (like Pixi SkinDrink), the foundation spreads much easier and thins out. I use like half of a dime size now.

I use a colored powder on top too, but only lightly. I use the IT Cosmetics pore filling powder before I put any foundation on sometimes and wow it is pretty good at blurring your pores.

I'm the opposite in that I really like full coverage.. I just don't like it to look cakey. So a slick primer that makes it spread is crucial.

I'm way too excited for this thread if you can't tell.

Did you get the boxy brushes? Those things are great at buffing through foundation

Yes! They're so incredibly soft. They're in the gift for my mom. You have no idea how hard it was to not keep everything.

I did keep one item - My December box came with the brush cleaner and I actually wash my makeup brushes several times a week with Dawn so I kept that cleaner for myself.

I didn’t get that because I got luxe. I wanted it, though.

This will be the third year I do an Ipsy subscription for my mom for her birthday. She gets so excited and sends me pictures when it gets to her every month

Aw, I love that! My mom has always been very frugal so I got her into Ipsy and she's converting to the dark side She's going to adore this Christmas gift.

What came in your Luxe? I was in it, but then unsubscribed last minute.

I started using Babe Lash last night, that lash serum. I already have long lashes but I hear this stuff really works. Check back in 2-3 months

I actually like to wet an angled eyeliner brush with water, then pickup the eyeshadow of choice with the wet brush & brush on the shadow as an eyeliner. I find it to be so much easier than liquid liner.

I LOVE the It foundation but agree it's too much to use without some kind of primer. It's like great paint that needs Floetrol.

KVD liner, fresh face cleanser (love their stuff), the same blush you got, storybook briar rose palette, foaming body wash that smells great, and a dry shampoo that I’ve gotten a sample of and loved. Oh! And I chose the Elemis oil and the stupid lip serum that I won’t use

EXACTLY

Without a primer, it is so cakey.

I like to do that too. Fun to use other colors besides black too.

I recently watched a YouTube video on tight-lining (have to use pencil liner for this) and I've been doing it. Kinda makes me cry while doing it, but I love the way it looks.

I am so glad yall let me hang out here as the awkward kid. I had to cancel my ipsy because I had stuff just taking up space. My intentions were to try things but I probably tried one new thing every three months

I do the same thing. Sometimes water, sometimes setting spray. Actually, contact solution works very well.

Slag, I use my leg as a color switch and am not as good as I should be with cleaning

You're not the awkward kid. I only do the regular Ipsy and could probably stand to cancel for a bit. The idea of eyeshadow palettes stresses me out immensely and I barely buy any full-size makeup any more.

That serum is so stupid.

I had chosen the Saturday Skin and the facial roller. The fact that they made the Elemis/Saturday Skin the choice for base box too is actually why I bumped down.

Did you see the Boxy popup disaster? Their website crashed and people revolted When they finally fixed it, the Living Proof texture spray was still available for a long time so I ordered it. It is ok I guess? I have straight hair so it doesn't do much for me.

Idk why I get so excited every month. I do t ever have to buy travel stuff, though. But damn boxy for getting me hooked on expensive skincare. The Sunday Riley tidal and the Elemis marine especially.

You’d think with all the makeup I have I’d actually stop hitting snooze early enough to use it.
