We lived out in the country in the 80's and had a satelittle dish. The RS was on all the time. I probably watched it 40 times as a kid. Still one of my all time favorite movies.
I read Chucks autobiography after seeing the movie for the first time. He was a real badass. He was a big fisherman. HE loved Golden trout which could only be found in CA and OR. He lived in New Mexico and before he retired he borrowed a C-130 and flew a few dozen he and his buddies caught in CA and put in a stream near his home. You can now find golden trout in NM.
