I suggested turning spanish lake into a deep reservoir and use as a retention lake , pumping that to the miss river. this was on friday last week. got downvoted to oblivion.

We've been suggesting pumping Braud Bayou into the Mississippi for decades. They won't do it because that's not the natural flow rate, but when you're countering a flood you're fighting back flow. It would solve all of this shite. Leave the locks open and pump everything into the river.

just because the swamp is level with alligator bayou road doesn't mean both are level with manchac.
