It's definitely lower. You can see the grass in the median now. I think the opinion is that it has been pulling from Manchac. If I'm not mistaken Manchac is still backflowing while Ward Creek is dropping which would mean it's all heading toward Alligator Bayou & Bayou Fountain. As Manchac gets lower it should all start to stabilize.

A buddy of mine lives there and had to get out and go to a hotel with all his friends and family who were already there because of the flood.

I'm still on ridge road.

Rumor on the street is bluff swamp will top @ 12'. That's what I'm going with for my prediction. Take it FWIW.

And yet I'm over here at work watching this low arse Mississippi river barely flowing. Ashamed we can't get a pumping system to the river for overflow in Iberville.
