I didn't grow up much different than blacks. Food stamps, welfare, single mom, and 4 siblings. All five of us worked hard and are in white collar jobs. Excuses for failure are a bad poison.

Mine didn't. By the way, is desegregation for diversity or to raise test scores in mostly black failing schools with an injection of higher scoring white students?

Do you mean "forced busing" or do you really mean desegregation? Surely you don't think we should have segregated public schools.
