She's 27. She'll likely be out before she's 40. Still plenty of time to live a life and that's more than her victim got. She could have gotten much longer, so she should consider herself lucky as hell.

Wasn’t she a multiple DUI offender? Maybe even didn’t have her license when this accident occurred due to a recent dui? Might be getting accidents confused.

She completed a diversion program in Nov., 2016 for her first DWI and it was expunged from her record. She got arrested forDWI again in Dec, 2016. She was out on bond when she killed this poor bastard in March, 2017.

Matte completed a diversion program on Nov. 23, 2016, which scrubbed the first arrest from her record. But State Police arrested her and again booked her with DWI just two weeks later on Dec. 7, 2016

she was out on bond on her 2nd DWI arrest when she killed Blackmon
she has served zero days since her arrest so there’s no time served. 5 years of her sentence must be served then she would be parole eligible. Unfortunately VH is not the same sentence as murder although the outcome for the victim is

She was on the causeway over Lake Pontchartrain at night and rear ended the guy. The speed limit is 65. I have no idea how fast she was going, but she hit him hard enough to spin his truck 180 degree and have it climb the guardrail. One of the guardrails dislodged and was driven through the back of the cab and out of the windshieldd. The poor guy driving basically had an aluminum pipe that's about 6" in diameter driven through his shoulder.
