Who knows what they were up to at this point. Hell he could have pulled over in the parking lot knowing it was closed and tried to convince her to get busy. So many possibilities since we have no idea. Only things that will explain this would be releasing the footage (hear about it a lot but have yet to see it) or listening to his confession/testimony.

I actually heard a rumor from someone who owns a bar on the Square in Oxford that she wasn’t actually pregnant.

It’s not just him though. It’s been spreading among the locals, but I figure this person might be a bit more in the know than the average person. Take everything with a grain of salt though since we really don’t know exactly what happened, like say if she was propped up on a picnic table. Just reporting on rumors from a local level.

Schools out and the football team sucks dck. There's nothing else to talk about around Oxford.
This rumor is in the bar owner's own interest. I imagine that her credit card purchases may be scrutinized and I doubt he wants to answer the question of why he was serving a pregnant student

But did you think about the optics for a bar that possibly over-served a pregnant girl that was murdered?

All I’ll say is it wasn’t the owner of Funky’s, so I don’t see why this person would have any liability. And as said, this rumor has been spreading from people besides the bar owner, I just thought to update it on here once I heard it. Again, take it with a grain of salt as with anything that hasn’t been directly stated by the police.

Why would a bar owner know this type of info? It wasnt like she had a bulging stomach. I dont see anyway he or any bartender could have known she was pregnant unless she explicitly told them but even then she could have, in theory, been saying it just for attention. Either way no one would know the difference.

I wonder if my old bookie still has an ownership stake in Funky's. He got caught up in the Freeze paying players scandal I think. Not sure if he took a step away from Oxford after that.
That guy was a huge meathead tool. But he made enough money off rich college kids sucking at gambling to help open a bar on the square.
He bribed some freshmen in my fraternity with free drinks at Funkys to round up some hot freshman girls to take on his boat at Sardis and it worked. He was like 24 at the time and the only non-freshman on the boat. More power to him I guess

I hope the rumors I’m hearing now are true about her not actually being pregnant. I just find it sick to a whole different level if he was fricked up enough to think it would be a better idea to murder her and the unborn baby and thinking he could get away with that rather than having an illegitimate child. If she was lying about the pregnancy to get with him, then at least can somewhat fathom that evil. It’s still brutal and horrific, but I can understand how that can send someone into an extreme rage.

I heard this from a very reliable person, but I can't vouch for whom it was received from as I don't know them. That is verbatim what I was told. That POS is obviously not too sharp and very evil.
