Affluenza is a bullshite excuse. But you see this from upper-middle class suburban kids. They have been sheltered from any real challenges in life. Then something “earth shattering” happens and they have no perspective on the situation.
Suicide is the more typical response than murder, though.

I've seen screenshots of texts from her friends saying that she told them she was pregnant and Brandon was upset.
777 makes a good point though, we have not heard medical confirmation of this yet.
